WKU to host Civil War photo, history exhibit

WKU’s School of Journalism and Broadcasting and the History Department present a gallery show “Witness: Photographs of a Nation Divided” at Mass Media and Technology Hall atrium and gallery.
This collection of Civil War photography and historic information as well as a re-creation of Matthew Brady’s famous 1862 photographic exhibition documenting the Civil War’s Battle of Antietam, including rarely seen reproductions of images in 3D, will be on display weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 24–March 29, excluding the week of March 11.
An opening reception, gallery sneak peak and keynote address by David Lee, Dean of WKU’s Potter College of Arts & Letters, will be 7 p.m. Jan. 23. Parking is available on the Chestnut Street South lot.
