- Friday, January 25th, 2013
The Department of Health and Human Services has released its annual update of the poverty guidelines. You can find the new 2013 guidelines HERE, along with other information regarding the guidelines. T/TAS has two upcoming events that can assist Head Start/EHS programs in working with the poverty guidelines.
Deeply Rooted: Sowing the Seeds of Success for Children and Families, March 19-21st in Orlando, will dig deeply into strategies and approaches to help families at or below the poverty level to bloom into productive advocates for their children. The Deeply Rooted conference will focus on techniques to support family outcomes from the Head Start Parent, Family & Engagement Framework.
And Finding the Keys to ERSEA, June 25-26 in Phoenix, is designed to unlock the mysteries of Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA), and to open new doors for Head Start and Early Head Start managers, coordinators, Directors, and especially Family Service area staff.
