Sondra Calvin completes 2012-13 WKU Staff Leadership

The Staff Leadership class of 2012-2013 completed their training on Wednesday, May 15th. Sondra Calvin, financial and coding specialist at WKUHS was a member of this class.

The Staff Leadership Institute was created to help meet the developmental needs of WKU and its staff. The program seeks to enhance job performance and personal development skills, as well as challenge the spirit of each individual.” Through the staff leadership program, I was able to meet a lot of people from around campus that I would have otherwise never met. Throughout the course of 8 sessions, various topics were discussed including diversity, communication, dealing with negativity, dealing with difficult people, customer service skills and much more. Staff Leadership was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone at WKU.
