Passport To Wellness

Passport to Wellness is a series of eight sessions throughout the school year demonstrating different aspects of health through activities, games, and speakers. Some of the topics covered are Exercise, Nutrition, Alcohol, Sleep, Sexual Health, Mental Health, Finances, and more. Students attending their first session will receive a "Wellness Passport" and a stamp. Collect stamps by attending the following sessions to win prizes. Students with 2 stamps get a free T-shirt, 5 stamps earn a free dual USB car charger, and those with the most stamps will be entered to win the grand prize!
This program is free to all WKU students.
** All sessions are on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm in the auditorium of Gary A. Ransdell Hall, Rm 1074 **
April 16th | The Skin I'm In | Portion distortion isn't just on our plates. Hear more about the changing standards of beauty today and how it is impacting self-image. Learn how to deal with the high expectations we face from both ourselves and others. |
May 7th | Walking Dead? Ways To Go To Bed | It's not the zombie apocalypse, but students aren't getting enough sleep. Hear what you're doing that could be keeping you awake and how you can rest easy in a noisy environment. |
