More about the HSKI screening visits

We explained last week that the HSKI (Head Start Key Indicators) visits have been put on hold/stopped (view previous article here). Now T/TAS has received word from several programs who had already received HSKI visits that the Office of Head Start will not send or use the results of the screeners done on incumbent grantees.
So what does this mean for programs? Those who were expecting a HSKI screening will not receive it, those who had a HSKI will not have it count and everyone is back into the cycle for something called “the aligned monitoring system”. The aligned monitoring system is expected to be out later this summer and T/TAS will bring you informative and entertaining training upon it.
