WKU introduces new deadline and process for the Cherry Presidential Scholarship

WKU’s online admissions application for Fall 2015 has incorporated a new deadline and process in applying for the Cherry Presidential Scholarship.

The new admission application deadline is November 15, 2014 for the Cherry Presidential Scholarship ONLY.  The deadline for all other scholarships will continue to be January 15, 2015.

The Cherry Presidential Scholarship covers in-state tuition, $4090 for on-campus housing, a $2274 meal allowance, and $1000 book allowance. Participation in the Honors College is required.

Applicants with a minimum 3.80 unweighted GPA and ACT composite of 31 (1360 SAT) who wish to be considered for the Cherry Presidential Scholarship must complete the application for admission by November 15, 2014 and the Honors College application by December 1, 2014.

Finalists for the Cherry Presidential Scholarship will be invited to WKU on February 6, 2015 for an on-campus interview.  Recipients of the scholarship will be selected and notified the following week.
