The below email message came from the OHS on behalf of the Danya Review Scheduling Team. The email provides information about the Aligned Monitoring Virtual Expo, taking place September 10-17.

The Office of Head Start (OHS) is excited to announce the Aligned Monitoring Virtual Expo! As you may recall, in June you received an email asking you to save September 17 for a webinar on the Aligned Monitoring System. This System has aligned the monitoring process with the Office of Head Start’s move to 5-year grants. The Virtual Expo is a new and fun environment to learn about the Aligned Monitoring System and everything you need to know for the upcoming fiscal year. Below are all of the details for the upcoming Virtual Expo and Live Q&A Webinar Sessions.

Aligned Monitoring Virtual Expo, September 10-17

The week leading up to the Webinar, a virtual expo will open for all grantees to learn about the Aligned Monitoring System, how to prepare for a review, and Review Event Types for FY15 (Environmental Health and Safety, Head Start Key Indicators - Compliant, Fiscal/ERSEA, and CLASSTM). You will also have the opportunity to chat live with Monitoring staff during established office hours. The scheduled office hours will be listed in a future email and will be posted on the Expo home page. You may visit the Expo as many times as you want throughout the year.

Live OHS Q&A Sessions

The week of exploring the Virtual Expo will culminate in a series of Live Q&A Webinar sessions with Ross Weaver and Adia Brown from OHS. Questions submitted during the Expo and asked during the Live Q&A will be addressed during the sessions.

All grantee staff will be able to register for the Virtual Expo. However, at the time of registration, you will be given the option of selecting a radio button to also register for a live Q&A. Please keep in mind that all grantees will only be allowed two live Q&A registrations. Therefore, we strongly encourage all grantee staff to watch the live Q&A together in a conference room or similar environment so that all staff will be informed. If you are unable to watch the sessions live, a recording of each session will be available for viewing at a later date.

General Session for All Grantees: September 17, 2pm Eastern (Optional for AIAN and Migrant/Seasonal)

AIAN Session: September 17, 3:30pm Eastern

Migrant/Seasonal: September 18, 2pm Eastern

Moving forward, emails regarding the Expo and Live Q&A session will come from headstart@theonlineexpo.com, so please add this email address to your contact list to ensure you receive all communications. On August 18, you will receive an email with registration information.
