WKU College Youth in Government Student Visits Washington

This past April, Sophomore Zach Jones represented the WKU College Youth in Government at the 1st Annual Washington Legislative Advocacy Summit (WLAS) hosted by the YMCA College Youth In Government Program. Zach authored legislation that was passed at the YMCA Youth In Government National Assembly. He was invited to travel to Washington D.C. to present this legislation at the Washington Legislative Advocacy Summit. He met with legislative aides from both Senator Paul and Senator McConnell’s office as well as Congressmen Whitfield.
