WKU recognizes top volunteers at Summit Awards

WKU recognized its top volunteers Thursday night (Oct. 12) at the annual Summit Awards.
Distinguished Service Medals to recognize the service of the University’s top volunteers were presented to Julie Harris Hinson of Prospect, James G. Meyer of Bowling Green and Linda S. Miller of Louisville.
The Summit Awards were presented by Service One Credit Union, and the event was held at the Augenstein Alumni Center as part of Homecoming activities.
University-wide Volunteer of the Year awards were presented to the following:
- James G. Meyer, Alumni W-Club Board of Directors
- Chad W. Davis, Business Executive Advisory Council of the Gordon Ford College of Business
- Bruce Wilkerson, Center for Gerontology Advisory Board
- Jonathan Vaughn,The Center for Gifted Studies

- Linda S. Miller, College of Education and Behavioral Sciences Advisory Board
- Chris Thorn, College of Health and Human Services
- Dr. Andrew Burt, Hilltopper Athletic Foundation
