• Holocaust mural exhibit to open March 1 at National Corvette Museum: An exhibit of 20 murals depicting powerful messages about the Holocaust will open March 1-15 at the National Corvette Museum. The murals were created by students participating in The Center for Gifted Studies’ VAMPY program.
• Black History Month Salute: Sharon Hunter: This month, we're highlighting the work of African American faculty, staff, students and alumni who make a difference each day at WKU. Today, we focus on Sharon Hunter, Director of Strategic Enrollment Management and Retention Support at WKU.
• IdeaFestival Bowling Green today at WKU: The fifth annual IdeaFestival Bowling Green will be held today in the Van Meter Auditorium and Downing Student Union at WKU from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Kentucky Live! presents Mary Ellen Pethel on “College Life and the Making of Modern Nashville”: The Kentucky Live! Series presents Mary Ellen Pethel on College Life and the Making of Modern Nashville at 7 tonight at Barnes & Noble, 1680 Campbell Lane.
• Parking advisory: PS2 Reserved Monday: Parking Structure 2 will be reserved Monday morning (Feb. 19) for Head for The Hill, a major student recruitment event.  The garage is scheduled to reopen at approximately 10 a.m. Alternate commuter parking will be available in several other lots. • 2018 Winter Weather Communications Plan: Check out a reminder about WKU’s winter weather communications plan that provides a number of ways you can find out if classes are delayed, canceled or if a campus is closed.
• WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

WKU Sports

• Women’s basketball: Lady Toppers Head to Middle Tennessee Tonight: For the 72nd time in program history, longtime rivals WKU and Middle Tennessee are set to clash in Murfreesboro, Tenn., this evening at 6:30 for the second time this season. In the first meeting, WKU earned a 57-43 victory inside E.A. Diddle Arena on Jan. 4 to open C-USA play for both sides.
• Men’s basketball: Tops Head Back to Texas to Face Mean Green Tonight: Winner of 11 of its last 13 games, WKU Hilltopper Basketball visits North Texas at 8 CT tonight in Denton, Texas. The Hilltoppers won two home games last week but play four of their last six on the road, where they're 4-1 in league play. Watch the game live on WatchStadium.com and WKU PBS.
• Softball: Chattanooga Challenge on Deck for WKU: Back in action after going 3-1 on opening weekend including the program's sixth-straight season-opening win, WKU Softball is headed to the Chattanooga Challenge for a full slate of games. Play from Chattanooga, Tenn., will commence today as the Hilltoppers will take on Tennessee Tech and Sacred Heart in back-to-back games from Frost Stadium. The Red and White will play as many as six games on the weekend, weather pending.
• Baseball: 2018 Media Day at Nick Denes Field: With only a few days remaining before first pitch of the 2018 WKU Baseball season in Memphis, head coach John Pawlowski along with seniors Colie Currie, Ben Morrison and Ryan Thurston spoke at Nick Denes Field at the Hilltoppers' media day.

• Photography exhibit features Bosnia and Herzegovina: The culture, people and beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina will go on display at Spencer’s Coffee on College Street with the opening of a new photography exhibition. James Kenney, a photojournalism professor at WKU, will showcase his work beginning at 7 tonight.
• Overcoming Obstacles, The Tops Are On A Tear: The WKU Men’s Basketball team has faced its share of challenges this season. From the departure of freshman five-star Mitchell Robinson, to eligibility issues with freshman guard Josh Anderson and redshirt sophomore transfer Moustapha Diange, the Hilltoppers have battled adversity this year.
