WKU in the News
- For No. 23, career shaped by decision to always be a Hilltopper: These days, Justin Johnson lingers. He’ll sit at his locker a few extra minutes after games. He walks a little slower toward the exit when it’s time to leave E.A. Diddle Arena. He’ll catch himself glancing toward the banners that hang from the ceiling of the building where he’s played 59 games – and spent so much more time in when the stands were empty. “My dream is to have 23 put in those rafters one day,” he said. “That’s something that no one can ever take away from you. You can bring your kids and your grandkids back, people look up and that’s you up there.” More: WKU blasts Charlotte to set up showdown with Old Dominion
- Lady Toppers' Brown duo to play last game at Diddle Arena: Ivy Brown remembers being in middle school the first time she visited E.A. Diddle Arena – 2009, when Tennessee played Ball State in the NCAA Tournament. Brown never played in the KHSAA Girls’ Sweet 16 when it was held in Bowling Green, but she still attended the state tournament as a spectator in the arena she would one day call home. Tonight, Brown will wrap up a WKU career where she was anything but a spectator. The Hodgenville native and fellow senior Tashia Brown will go down as one of the best Lady Topper duos the program has had.
