WKU in the News
- Lady Toppers hope to take best chop at big Oregon State team: Sometimes the simplest scouting report is the truest one. “Very big,” Whitney Creech said. “Very big.” WKU’s sophomore guard didn’t have to dig deep to find the descriptives for six-seeded and 13th-ranked Oregon State. The Beavers have five players 6-foot-2 or taller and seven at least 6-foot.
- WKU's Elgedawy adjusts to American game and culture in freshman season: The one player who completely changes the makeup of the WKU women’s basketball team almost didn’t become a Lady Topper.Raneem Elgedawy had a dream of playing basketball in the United States and, through a series of connections, committed to travel halfway around the world from Egypt to Kentucky and fulfill that goal. The journey took much longer than expected and almost never happened.
