- 2018 Scholarship Celebration brings together more than 500 scholarship donors and student recipients: The 2018 Scholarship Celebration was held at the Knicely Conference Center on Thursday night. The annual event recognizes and celebrates the philanthropic spirit of donors who support scholarship funds and the students who directly benefit from their generosity. Often the only way scholarship donors can meet their student recipients face-to-face, this event offers an opportunity for them to learn about one another.
- WKU FUSE grants facilitate innovative research: WKU continues to distinguish itself in the field of research, this time with the Faculty-Undergraduate Student Engagement (FUSE) grants. “There are not many schools who support student research in this way,” said Ryanne Gregory, coordinator for FUSE in the Office of Research and Creative Activity.
- Editors selected for College Heights Herald, Talisman: Two juniors were chosen Wednesday to lead WKU’s award-winning student publications in the coming year. Evan Heichelbech, a journalism and management double-major from Louisville, was named editor-in-chief of the College Heights Herald for Fall 2018. Hannah Good, an English-professional writing major from Alexandria, was named editor-in-chief of Talisman magazine and website for 2018-19.
- Parking Structure 3 Closed March 30-31: Parking Structure 3 will be closed on Friday and Saturday (March 30-31) while contractors finalize installations within the structure.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Baseball: Late UTSA Grand Slam Downs WKU: A pitcher's duel through seven innings, visiting UTSA hit an eighth-inning grand slam to pull away from WKU Baseball by a score of 5-0 on Thursday evening. Along with a solo homerun earlier in the game, the Roadrunners scored all five of their runs via the long ball. Next: The series continues at 5 p.m. today and 11 a.m. Saturday.
- Men’s basketball: A Season To Remember: It was no doubt a season to remember. Take a brief look back at what we accomplished this year and where the season ranks historically in WKU history.
- Softball: WKU Headed for Charlotte to Resume C-USA Play: Following a bye weekend and a cancelled midweek game, WKU Softball will finally return to action today after going eight days between contests as the Hilltoppers head to Charlotte, N.C., for a three-game weekend series with the 49ers. The Red and White enter their third Conference USA series of the season with a 19-11 overall record and a 3-3 reading in league play. Charlotte sits at 10-19 overall with a 4-5 record against C-USA foes.
- Women’s golf: Lady Toppers Stay In-State to Compete at EKU Colonel Classic: WKU Lady Topper Golf won't have to travel far for its final tournament of the regular season. The Lady Toppers will be one of 15 programs competing in Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic today and Saturday at the par-72, 5,815-yard University Club at Arlington in Richmond.
- Track & Field: WKU Season Continues with Pepsi Florida Relays: Members of the WKU Track and Field team will travel to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend to compete in the annual Pepsi Florida Relays. There will be 14 WKU representatives participating in the Relays alongside 99 other teams that are represented. Seven teams on the men's and women's side of competition are ranked in the top-25 in the country.

- Great turnout for the Delta Zeta Wing Wars: The second annual Wing Wars Eating Competition, put on by the Delta Zeta chapter, was held at the Christian Student Fellowship House at WKU's campus.

- Topper Travelers Program 2018: The WKU Alumni Association is planning a Baltic Cruise across Northern Europe June 21-July 2. The 10-night cruise across the Baltic Sea aboard Marina will begin in Copenhagen, Denmark, with stops in Berlin, Germany; Helsinki, Finland; St. Petersburg, Russia; Tallinn, Estonia; and Stockholm, Sweden.
