WKU in the News
- Tops close out second week of spring practice: WKU put a bow on two weeks of spring football Saturday inside Houchens-Smith Stadium. “What I’ve loved is we’ve played in every type of element,” WKU coach Mike Sanford said. “We’ve played in sideways snow, we’ve played in 38 mph winds, we’ve played in two days worth of buckets of rain, and then (Saturday) we played in front of beautiful spring weather. That’s what you love, for your team to come out every day with the type of mindset to get work in and to compete and (Saturday) was the best we’ve been so far in terms of competing.”
