WKU in the News
- Emerging ways to illuminate plays, digital media technology and projections light up Louisville stages: We’re all used to lights and sound being a part of an evening at the theater. But more and more frequently, companies also are using a diverse range of new media tools, including projections and digital images, to help tell stories on stage. Philip Allgeier, media technologist at Actors Theatre, is a Louisville native who majored in communications with a focus on video production and minored in theater at WKU. He notes that the dual focus was, by accident, a nearly perfect course of study for digital media technology.
- Hilltoppers post program's highest KenPom ranking in 10 years: WKU’s on-court basketball product in 2017-18 was its best in 10 years, according to Ken Pomeroy's efficiency ratings.
