• Estate gift will support Campbellsville, Taylor County students pursuing health-related degrees: Dale Tucker of Lexington has made an estate commitment to “pay it forward” and support deserving students at WKU. A 1980 WKU graduate, Tucker received a Bachelor of Science in Health Education. Tucker has included WKU in his estate plans to establish the Dale Tucker Endowed Health Care Scholarship Fund, which will benefit students from Campbellsville and Taylor County who are pursuing a degree in any health-related field.

• WKU Owensboro Campus Offers Flexible Courses to Fit Student Schedules: Many college students must balance classes with family and work responsibilities. That’s why WKU offers flexible course options that help students fit classes into their schedules. “We are committed to helping students reach their educational goals without sacrificing their personal and professional responsibilities,” said Jenny London, WKU academic support specialist.

• WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. • Men’s golf: Sargent Improves by Five Strokes in Second Round of Regional: WKU's Billy Tom Sargent improved by five strokes in Tuesday's second round at the NCAA Kissimmee (Fla.) Regional, firing a 1-over 73 at the Reunion Resort Watson Course. Sargent, a redshirt junior from Georgetown, Ky., is tied for 65th place with a two-day total of 151 (78-73). He'll tee off in the final round this morning.
• Baseball: WKU Game at No. 20 Tennessee Tech Cancelled in 2nd Inning: With two outs in the bottom of the second inning, and WKU Baseball leading No. 20 Tennessee Tech by a score of 1-0, everyone was called off the field due to lightning within 10 miles of the field. Following a 30-minute delay, it was decided that the game would not continue due to the potential for more lightning delays throughout the afternoon. Next: WKU (21-29, 11-16 C-USA) finishes its regular season with a Thursday-to-Saturday series at Florida Atlantic.

• Sanford relishing in WKU's quiet offseason: The buzz for the 2018 WKU football season is, well, buzzless. Mike Sanford is cool with that. “We’re not going in with quite the preseason hype that has been consistent over the last two or three years, but I like it that way. I really do,” he said. “I like having a little bit of chip on our shoulder. I like our program to have a collective chip on our shoulder. That’s what we wanna go in to this season with.”
