- View from the Hill: WKU LeaderShape: Before the spring semester even ended, close to 50 WKU students loaded up on a bus and headed to a rural area to hone their leadership skills. WKU's Amy Bingham has more on WKU LeaderShape in the View from the Hill.
- Follow the WKU storm chasers: WKU students are participating in the ninth annual storm chase course during the May term. For updates, follow the group’s blog posts or @wkustormchase on Twitter.
- Follow the Bike4Alz riders: WKU students are making the sixth Bike4Alz cross country ride to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. For updates on social media, follow Bike4Alz on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. - Track & Field: WKU to Send 16 Competitors to NCAA East Preliminaries: Sixteen WKU Track and Field student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Round to be held in Tampa, Fla., May 24-26. The top 48 competitors in each individual event from both the east and west regions qualify for the preliminary competitions. All three days of action from the USF Track and Field stadium will be streamed by FloTrack.
- Softball: Hilltoppers Add Kentucky Wesleyan Transfer Abbie Heischman: After graduating just one senior following WKU Softball's 2018 campaign, head coach Amy Tudor continues to add to next year's experienced squad as she announced the addition of Abbie Heischman to the program. The Leo, Ind., native is eligible to compete immediately following a year on Kentucky Wesleyan's women's basketball squad.
- Baseball: WKU Falls in 11 Innings After Morrison's Career Day: Within a strike of an extra-inning win at Florida Atlantic, WKU Baseball was unable to hold the Owls in the bottom of the 10th, then ultimately fell by a score of 6-5 in 11 innings on Friday afternoon. With other action in C-USA, WKU was eliminated from a potential bid to the 2018 Conference USA Championship in Biloxi, Miss. Due to heavy rain, Saturday’s game at FAU was cancelled.

- Building Momentum: Stansbury talks recent success, future of WKU hoops: During his introductory press conference in 2016 after being hired as WKU head basketball coach, Rick Stansbury made a prediction. He encouraged people who hadn't purchased tickets to do so, "because there's coming a day real soon where there's not going to be a ticket for sale," Stansbury said Thursday while speaking about the recent success of the Hilltoppers' hoops program and his vision for what they can achieve in the future.
