• Tim and Sarah Ford establish scholarship to support students pursuing degrees in Special Education: Tim and Sarah Ford have made a gift to establish the Brett Ford Scholarship Fund to benefit students who are pursuing a degree in Special Education within the College of Education & Behavioral Sciences at WKU.
• WKU Glasgow Campus to Offer Three New Healthcare Training Programs This Fall: Adult learners in the Glasgow area will have access to three new career training programs in the healthcare field this fall. Clinical Medical Assistant, Dental Assisting and Phlebotomy Technician training programs will be offered at the WKU Glasgow campus through a partnership with WKU Lifelong Learning.

• Gordon Ford College of Business Recognizes Outstanding Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni: WKU’s Gordon Ford College of Business held its 21st annual Recognition Dinner on April 21. Students, faculty, and staff were recognized for their academic achievements.
• 46 students participate in WKU LeaderShape Institute: The Student Activities Office recently hosted its 12th campus-based WKU LeaderShape Institute, an intensive, weeklong experience that teaches students to lead with integrity and believe in the impossible.
• CSD Graduate Student Wins National Essay Contest: Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate student Cara Richman was selected as a winner of an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) 2018 Student Ethics Essay Award. 
• Follow the Bike4Alz riders: WKU students are making the sixth Bike4Alz cross country ride to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. For updates on social media, follow Bike4Alz on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. More: Bike4Alz Support Vehicle Fundraiser
• WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. • Track & Field: Scarbrough Earns 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-District Recognition: WKU's Taylor Scarbrough has been recognized for his success on and off the track as the Hilltopper distance runner has been named to the 2018 Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District II Team. The sophomore owns a 4.0 in his time on The Hill and is pursuing a degree in finance.
• Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

• WKU graduate receives $45,000 scholarship to study at prestigious London school: For as long as she can remember, Lillian Nellans has dreamed of helping to make the world a safer place for the vulnerable and powerless.
• WKU plans to combat nationwide enrollment decline: WKU is expecting to face yet another year of decline in enrollment numbers, but new plans in place hope to combat the problem that higher education universities across the country are also facing.
