WKU Sports
- Baseball: I'm So Proud Of You Buddy, I Love You: Steven Kraft started the season 0-for-8 with six strikeouts and he was embarrassed to call home. He always called his family back in Gainesville, Virginia, to talk about his games. They were his rock, his support, through 21 years of life and 17 of baseball. He remembers fondly a call on the night of his first start as a freshman in 2015, when he went 3-for-4 and scored the game-winning run on a walk-off in extra innings. The first thing his dad had said was: "I'm so proud of you buddy, I love you."
- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

That lost art is gunsmithing, and the goal of this annual seminar held at WKU is to carry on the tradition of smiths who started the trade back in the mid-18th century.
- Kentucky Museum's summer camps kickoff: Monday was the first day of the Kentucky Museum's summer camps. The weeklong camps run throughout the month of June, with each week focusing on a new art skill.
