- Young Alumni Council announces first scholarship recipient: The WKU Young Alumni Council has awarded its first scholarship to Hannah Good, a rising senior from Park Hills. The Young Alumni Council (YAC), part of the WKU Alumni Association, provides an opportunity for alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years to maintain ties to WKU and provide important feedback to the Alumni Association on programming and services.

- Baseball: Angels Select Ben Morrison in 10th Round of 2018 MLB Draft: The Los Angeles Angels selected WKU Baseball righty Ben Morrison in the 10th round of the 2018 MLB Draft with the 301st overall pick on Tuesday evening.
- Soccer: WKU Releases 2018 Fall Schedule: WKU Soccer Head Coach Jason Neidell has announced the team's 2018 fall schedule that includes eight regular season home matches at the WKU Soccer Complex and marquee non-conference road matches at SEC foes Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
- Volleyball: Lady Topper Rookie Named to PrepVolleyball.com's Defensive Dandy List: Head coach Travis Hudson's incoming rookie class continues to turn heads as Payton Frederick was named to PrepVolleyball.com's Defensive Dandy list as a first team selection in the Gym Dandy category.
- Track & Field: Morris, Hilltopper Relays Travel to NCAA Outdoor Championships: Ten Hilltoppers will travel to Eugene, Ore., this week to take on the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Historic Hayward Field. This trip marks the 11th straight season WKU has been represented at the national championships by multiple student-athletes.
- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

- Morris brings Montserratian pride to track for Hilltoppers: Julius Morris will step onto the track this week and run for a championship. He’ll represent both his school and the tiny island he calls home. Morris, a WKU sprinter, will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
- Lady Toppers expect 'steep learning curve' in nonconference schedule: Greg Collins isn’t expecting his first several games as the WKU women’s basketball coach to be cupcakes.
