- Norris D. 'Norro' Wilson Music Legacy Scholarship Fund announces inaugural recipient: John T. Davis, a music major from Scottsville, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Norris D. “Norro” Wilson Music Legacy Scholarship Fund.
- WKU PBS earns 3 Emmy nominations; Brinkley receives Silver Circle award: WKU PBS has been nominated for three awards in three categories for the 54th Annual Ohio Valley Emmy Awards, and David Brinkley, WKU Director of Public Broadcasting, has been named a Silver Circle Honoree.
- View from the Hill: Food recycling expands at WKU: WKU has been recycling food waste since the 1980s at the university farm through a partnership with the city of Bowling Green. But a recent grant has expanded food recycling to the Baker Arboretum as WKU's Amy Bingham explains in the View from the Hill.

- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.
