- WKU Regents schedule special budget, committee meetings June 22: The WKU Board of Regents will conduct a special budget approval meeting on June 22, followed by meetings of the Academic Affairs and Finance and Budget committees. The meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. (CDT) in the Martin Regents Room, Jody Richards Hall.
- Creativity Is Everywhere at SCATS: Creativity is crucial to many fields, not just fine arts and communication but also science and engineering. This year at SCATS, creativity is on display in a broad range of classes as teachers work with students to see what is not yet there, find connections no one has noticed, and build what does not yet exist. - Follow the Bike4Alz riders: WKU students are making the sixth Bike4Alz cross country ride to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. - Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

- "Xposure" Workshop preparing students for journalism world: On WKU’s campus, high school students are getting unique exposure. They're also getting hands-on experience in the world of journalism.
- Local ‘Master’ Teacher Vying to Become MASTERCHEF: Nashville high school English teacher Gerron Hurt is showing the world that not only does he know his way around nouns, verbs and adjectives but he can also construct and breakdown cooking recipes as well. Hurt is one of the lucky 22 home chefs competing in Season 9 of the Fox Network’s hit series MASTERCHEF. The Louisville native is a graduate of WKU.
- Four of WKU's eight newcomers on campus: Four of WKU’s eight newcomers on the 2018-19 team have arrived in Bowling Green and are going through summer workouts as Hilltoppers.
