- WKU welcomes creator of stickwork sculptures Patrick Dougherty in October: WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series and the Kentucky Museum will host award-winning artist Patrick Dougherty Oct. 1-19 on WKU’s campus in Bowling Green. Dougherty creates large scale environmental sculptures made from intertwined tree saplings. His next installation will be located in front of the Kentucky Museum.
- VAMPY, Advanced Placement Summer Institute celebrate 35 years: Next week marks the 35th year The Center for Gifted Studies has offered the Summer Program for Verbally and Mathematically Precocious Youth (VAMPY) and the Advanced Placement Summer Institute.
- View from the Hill: WKU volunteers have impact on Center for Courageous Kids: It’s been 10 years since the Center for Courageous Kids began offering a camping experience to kids suffering from 100 different illnesses. WKU has a strong presence at the medical camping facility as WKU's Amy Bingham explains in the View from the Hill.
- Campus parking advisory: PS1 Levels 3-4 Reserved: Parking Structure 1 Levels 3 and 4 will be reserved for SCATS camp move-out and VAMPY camp move-in activities today (June 22) and Sunday (June 24).
- WKU Regents schedule special budget, committee meetings June 22: The WKU Board of Regents will conduct a special budget approval meeting at 8:30 a.m. today (June 22), followed by meetings of the Academic Affairs and Finance and Budget committees.
- Follow the Bike4Alz riders: WKU students are making the sixth Bike4Alz cross country ride to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. - Softball: O'Daniel Signs NLI to Join WKU Softball This Fall: WKU Softball head coach Amy Tudor continues to add depth to the 2018-19 Hilltopper squad as she announced the signing of Lexie O'Daniel on Thursday. The Hopkinsville, Ky., native will join her fellow Red and White newcomers on The Hill this fall.
- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

- Bassey's enrollment continues momentum for Stansbury's Hilltoppers: Rick Stansbury had an ambitious vision for WKU when he took the job in March 2016. Stansbury wanted to build a Hilltopper program that could compete with anyone in the country. He spoke of winning championships and filling E.A. Diddle Arena, saying there’d “come a time real soon” when tickets would all be sold out. Two years into his tenure, Stansbury has WKU rolling toward those goals.
