- WKU Regents approve $388.4 million budget: The WKU Board of Regents on Friday (June 22) approved a $388.4 million budget for 2018-19, a 6 percent reduction from the current budget.
- Anthropology faculty awarded RCAP for research in Amsterdam: Dr. Ashley Stinnett is spending the summer in Amsterdam establishing a new research fieldsite, where she is exploring how people living in Holland are experiencing meat production and consumption. Dr. Stinnett was awarded competitive RCAP (Research and Creative Activities Program) funding from WKU to support this research.
- Follow the Bike4Alz riders: WKU students are making the sixth Bike4Alz cross country ride to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. - Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.
