• Inman elected as National Association of Gifted Children board member: Dr. Tracy Inman, Associate Director of The Center for Gifted Studies, has been elected to the board of directors for the National Association of Gifted Children (NAGC) as Parent Representative. She will serve a two-year term in the role, which begins September 1, 2018.
• KAP Circle of Support students gain experience at CCK: Four KAP Circle of Support students, college students in the Kelly Autism Program at WKU, are spending the summer helping campers at the Center for Courageous Kids, a non-profit camp that serves children with serious illnesses.

• WKU Student Priority Registration for Stickwork Project: Attention WKU students, if you’re interested in volunteering to assist with Stickwork at WKU, featuring artist Patrick Dougherty, priority registration is open through Aug. 1. Volunteer slots are limited; students can call (270) 745-2594 to reserve a volunteer slot but must confirm their reservation in person at the Kentucky Museum by Aug. 30. The Stickwork Project will be conducted Oct. 1-19. For details, visit www.wku.edu/grow/stickwork

• Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

• WKU announces associate provost for global learning: WKU announced John Sunnygard on Tuesday as the associate provost for Global Learning and International Affairs.
• WKU Foundation celebrates 25 years of philanthropic initiatives: In the last quarter century, the WKU Foundation has played a pivotal role in the development of WKU. On Monday, the organization celebrated its 25th anniversary on the Hill.
