- Guthrie announces WKU research grant for Bingocize project: Congressman Brett Guthrie announced Wednesday that the National Institute on Aging at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is awarding a $417,398 research grant to WKU for the Bingocize project.
- Spring 2018 Ford Report: Check out the Ford Report for highlights of student and faculty activities and accomplishments for the Gordon Ford College of Business.
- WKU Student Priority Registration for Stickwork Project: Attention WKU students, if you’re interested in volunteering to assist with Stickwork at WKU, featuring artist Patrick Dougherty, priority registration is open through Aug. 1. Volunteer slots are limited; students can call (270) 745-2594 to reserve a volunteer slot but must confirm their reservation in person at the Kentucky Museum by Aug. 30. The Stickwork Project will be conducted Oct. 1-19. For details, visit www.wku.edu/grow/stickwork
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Hilltoppers with Heart: WKU United Way Day of Caring 2018: Giving back is always in season on The Hill - even in the middle of the summer. On Wednesday, July 25, WKU Athletics teamed up with US Bank and United Way for the eighth year for Day of Caring. Student-athletes and coaches from WKU Men's & Women's Basketball, WKU Cheer, WKU Football, WKU Volleyball, WKU Softball, WKU Baseball, WKU Track & Field as well as dozens of volunteers came together on the South Lawn to put together a special day for the hundreds of visitors. Altogether, Hilltoppers with Heart spent more than 200 hours taking part in the United Way Day of Caring.
- Football: Fan Fest Set for August 11: WKU's annual Fan Fest returns to E.A. Diddle Arena on August 11 as second-year head coach Mike Sanford and his team, as well as Lady Topper soccer and volleyball, welcome Hilltopper Nation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., for the annual kickoff event.
- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and each day this summer, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football, from never-before-seen photos to game tickets and programs and everything in between.

- Day of Caring: U.S. Bank partners with WKU Athletics to host 'Science of Flight': On WKU's South Campus, U.S. Bank partnered with WKU Athletics hosting a "Science of Flight" event. Volunteers, which include Aviation Heritage Park and WKU student-athletes, worked with hundreds of children to teach them the science behind hot air balloons, airplanes, footballs, volleyballs and more.
- Math camp teaches students new skills: While many kids are taking a break from the books this summer, a select group of students from Bowling Green is choosing to work on their math skills. This educational camp is geared toward gifted students, those who excel above their grade level in math. WKU and Bowling Green Independent School district partnered together for their first ever math camp.
