WKU News
- Record 80 WKU students recognized in national scholarship competitions in 2017-18: WKU students continued to perform at high levels in the nation’s most prestigious scholarship competitions during 2017-18. More than 176 WKU students and recent graduates applied. They earned recognition 80 times, totaling more than $926,261 in funding for graduate school, language study, public service and study abroad. - Alumnus enhances scholarship fund, begins role with UK College of Medicine-Bowling Green campus: As the inaugural class of the UK College of Medicine-Bowling Green campus dons their white coats Friday in the closing event of their orientation week, Dr. Todd Cheever reflects on his time as a WKU student and how his role as the first Associate Dean of the new campus brought him back to Bowling Green.
- WKU Regents to hold retreat, quarterly meeting Aug. 2-3: The WKU Board of Regents will hold its annual retreat and quarterly meeting today and Friday (Aug. 2-3).
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Men’s basketball: Summer of Service: For the WKU Hilltopper Basketball team, fulfillment doesn't solely come on the court. In addition to classwork, individual workouts, scrimmages, weight lifting, and conditioning, WKU has found time all summer to give back to the Bowling Green community and beyond through the school's Hilltoppers with Heart program. From the team's veterans to its newcomers, it's a chance to be something more than just an athlete. And it's a role they cherish.
- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football.
- Men’s basketball: Countdown to Tipoff - 100 Days of Hilltopper Basketball History: The 100th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball will tip off in November. WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season.

- Parking changes come to WKU this fall: Students commuting to classes at WKU this fall will experience a new permitting system that parking officials hope will offer more options and flexibility.
