WKU in the News
- Led by Greene and Key, WKU solid at safety: One of WKU’s strengths in 2018 may be its secondary – particularly the back end where a quartet of safeties will be patrolling the outfield for WKU safeties coach Jami DeBerry. “I think for us rotations are gonna come from how they play out here,” DeBerry said Wednesday’s at the Houchens-Smith Stadium practice field. “They gotta earn those reps. Drell (Greene) and Devon (Key) have proven themself, so they’ve earned theirs. But ultimately for us, we gotta keep guys fresh so they can play fast.”
