- View from the Hill: Dr. Terry Ballman, WKU's new Provost: As WKU prepares to kick off the fall semester, a new Provost is at the helm. WKU's Amy Bingham introduces us to Dr. Terry Ballman, the university’s top academic administrator, in the View from the Hill.
- WKU alumnus Jeff Meisel promoted to manager of his hometown: Growing up, most children don't dream of becoming the City Manager of their hometown. But, for Jeff Meisel, it’s as if the trajectory of his career path was setting him up to do just that. “The City is not just my employer, but it’s my hometown,” Meisel explained. “I care about the future and welfare of Bowling Green, and I want to keep it a great place to live, work and raise a family.” More Alumni News: Get to know the four new WKU Alumni Association Alumni Leadership Scholars

- Men’s basketball: Fan Voting Open for All-Century Team: To tip off the start of 100 seasons of Hilltopper Basketball, WKU Athletics is building the roster for a prestigious All-Century Team, a 15-member squad pieced together from more than 50 candidates who starred on the hardwood for WKU over the past 100 seasons.
- Softball: WKU Announces Fall Slate: WKU Softball has announced its 2018 fall schedule featuring five chances to catch the Hilltoppers in action on The Hill. In total, the Red and White will suit up for nine exhibition contests including a WKU Alumni game to cap the fall training slate.
- Football: Taywan Taylor Highlights Pro Hilltoppers in NFL Preseason Week 2: Check out a recap of former Hilltoppers who played in NFL Preseason Week 2 games.
- Football: Countdown to Kickoff – 100 Days of Hilltopper History: WKU Football will kick off its 100th season on August 31, and WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique and interesting history of Hilltopper Football. More: Clear Bag Policy
- Men’s basketball: Countdown to Tipoff - 100 Days of Hilltopper Basketball History: The 100th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball will tip off in November. WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season.

- WKU enforcing clear bag policy at football games: WKU will now be enforcing a new 'clear bag policy' at football games.
- New freshmen move in on campus, volunteers help: The campus of WKU is starting to fill up again. Incoming freshmen spent Monday and will spend today moving in on campus.
- Freshman receiver Williams looking to make an impact for WKU: Kawan Williams likes numbers. He’s on record stating mathematics is one of his favorite subjects. Just try to beat him at the card game Uno. And for much of his playing days he’s lined up at a number of positions – quarterback, running back, wide receiver, kick returner and even some defensive back. But those days are over. Williams is part of a group of youthful but highly-talented receivers pushing WKU’s veterans every day in fall camp.
