The Advising & Career Development Center (ACDC) and Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) offices of WKU will host the 2018 Majors and Minors & Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Raymond B. Preston Health and Activities Center.
This partnership will provide students the unique opportunity to explore WKU majors and study abroad programs that fit their academic and career goals. Numerous academic departments will be present to answer questions about major and minor options available at WKU. Information will be available on a variety of study abroad programs, including WKU Faculty-Led Programs, KIIS, CCSA, Harlaxton, Semester at Sea, WKU Exchanges and other partner programs. Students are eligible to participate in study abroad programs if they are in good standing with the university and maintain a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.
This event is open to all current and prospective WKU students. All student attendees will have an opportunity to win one of two Study Abroad and Global Learning scholarships. Study Abroad and Global Learning will be giving away a free T-shirt to the first 400 students and a variety of door prizes throughout the event.
Door prizes were made possible by the generosity of the following WKU departments and local businesses: College of Education and Behavioral Science, College of Health and Human Services, Potter College of Arts & Letters, Ogden College of Science and Engineering, Great American Donut Shop, Hot Yoga, Lost River Cave, Mind Bender Escape Rooms, National Corvette Museum, and Pub by Novo.
