- 2018 Majors and Minors & Study Abroad Fair Sept. 19: The Advising & Career Development Center (ACDC) and Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) offices of WKU will host the 2018 Majors and Minors & Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Raymond B. Preston Health and Activities Center.
- WKU Imagewest students revamp the Historical Railpark and Train Museum’s advertising: The Fall 2018 Imagewest student staff spent the week before the start of the semester working with the Historic Railpark and Train Museum to revamp the outdated promotional material. The staff took on tasks dividing the promotion of events to create a creative campaign for the Railpark at no cost. This project was the first real business experience for many at Imagewest and a first step in finding a job after graduation.
- Parking Lot & Road Closings for WKU vs. Maine: On Saturday (Sept. 8), the WKU Hilltoppers will host the University of Maine Black Bears in the home opener football game with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. Several parking lots will be reserved for event parking and road closures will occur before game time. - WKU Week in Photos: Aug. 26-Sept. 1, 2018: Check out the latest installment of WKU Week in Photos by Clinton Lewis and Bryan Lemon of WKU Public Affairs.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. - Soccer: Lady Toppers Close Non-Conference Schedule at Vanderbilt Tonight: Coming off one of the biggest wins in program history, WKU Soccer will round out its 2018 non-conference schedule at 7 tonight as the Lady Toppers make the short trek to Nashville, Tenn., to square off against SEC foe Vanderbilt.
- Men’s basketball: Countdown to Tipoff - 100 Days of Hilltopper Basketball History: The 100th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball will tip off in November. WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season. More: Vote for All-Century Team.

- WKU kicks off International Year of Cuba: WKU kicked off its International Year of Cuba on Tuesday as two history professors peeled back the curtain and offered students a glimpse into the country’s past and present.
- Louisville says goodbye to Churchill Downs legend: He was known as the face of Churchill Downs, but John Asher’s reach was far wider. That was evident with every single face that filled the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville for his funeral Wednesday afternoon.
