• WKU's 2018 Parent & Family Weekend Sept. 28-29: WKU’s annual Parent & Family Weekend begins on Friday, Sept. 28, and continues with a full day of activities on Saturday, Sept. 29.
• Folk Studies and Kentucky Folklife Program Present at Horse Cave Heritage Festival: On Saturday (Sept. 15), graduate students, faculty and staff in the WKU Folk Studies Program and Kentucky Folklife Program partnered to produce the Chattin’ on the Porch stage at the Horse Cave Heritage Festival. • 2018 Majors and Minors & Study Abroad Fair Today: The Advising & Career Development Center (ACDC) and Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) offices of WKU will host the 2018 Majors and Minors & Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the Raymond B. Preston Health and Activities Center.
• 9th annual Eric D. Yates Memorial Run Tonight: The WKU Army ROTC program will host the ninth annual Eric D. Yates Memorial Run this evening. The 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk will begin at 6 p.m. at Chaney’s Dairy Barn, 9191 Nashville Road.
• Political Science Podcast: WKU’s Department of Political Science is releasing its first WKU PoliSci Podcast today. Episode 1 features Dr. Joel Turner and Dr. Jeff Budziak discussing the Supreme Court confirmation. More: Follow and access the podcast on Twitter @WKUPSPodcast
• Adult Ed Master’s degree recognized as one the country’s best: WKU’s Master’s degree in Adult Education, which is housed in the Department of Educational Administration, Leadership, and Research, was recently recognized in the annual College Choice rankings. WKU Sports

• Volleyball: WKU Finds Rhythm and Takes Down Cincinnati, 3-1: Behind 17 Rachel Anderson kills, Lauren Matthews' Diddle Arena debut and a solid all-around effort, WKU Volleyball defeated Cincinnati in four sets Tuesday night. The Lady Toppers improved to 9-5 with their second win over a team receiving votes this season while the Bearcats moved to 9-4. Next: WKU’s homestand continues this weekend as Middle Tennessee and Charlotte visit The Hill Friday and Sunday, respectively.
• Football: Practice Report: After appearing in a relief role in road games at No. 4 Wisconsin and Louisville, quarterback Davis Shanley is preparing to make his first career start for WKU Football. The Hilltoppers travel to Muncie, Ind., on Sept. 22 for a Saturday-afternoon matchup at Ball State.
• Tennis: Gonzalez Agud Leads WKU in Opening Tournament: Freshman Judit Gonzalez Agud led the Lady Toppers at the Greater Cincinnati Invitational over the weekend, winning third place in the No. 7 Women's Singles bracket. WKU notched eight match wins over competitors from Siena, Wofford, Northern Kentucky and Dayton.
• Football: Higbee, Taylor Score Touchdowns in NFL Week 2 Action: Nine former Hilltoppers are currently signed with NFL teams, check out what they did during Week 2.
• Men’s basketball: Countdown to Tipoff - 100 Days of Hilltopper Basketball History: The 100^th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball will tip off in November. WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season.

• Shanley to start at QB for WKU at Ball State: Davis Shanley was a spark plug off the bench last week for WKU. Now he’ll get the chance to start a college game for the first time.
