- Premiere screening of KET's Robert Penn Warren documentary Oct. 22 at WKU: A screening of Robert Penn Warren: A Vision, KET’s new original documentary that explores the life and career of Kentucky’s most acclaimed writer – and the only author ever to win a Pulitzer Prize in both fiction and poetry, will begin at 6 p.m. Oct. 22 at WKU’s Van Meter Hall.
- WKU CCSJ's Scholars in Service program awards scholarships throughout year: To encourage students at WKU to apply their knowledge in communities, the Center for Citizenship & Social Justice at WKU is accepting applications for Scholars in Service, a scholarship program awarding $15,000 a year to publicly engaged students.
- WKU CCSJ to host second lecture in 'Social Justice Salons' series on Oct. 16: The WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice will host the second lecture of its Fall 2018 "Social Justice Salons" series from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 16 at Downing Student Union, room 2123. Dr. Dana Cuomo of the Diversity & Community Studies Department will present “Domestic Violence & Vicarious Abuse: Inside an Exchange and Visitations Center.”
- Entrepreneur Speaker Series Features Pizza-Makin' Alum: Recent WKU Alum and Bowling Green native Spence Sheldon spoke to entrepreneurial students about his journey as an up-and-coming food entrepreneur with his business, Donatos Pizza.
- What’s Happening at WKU: Check out a list of events through Oct. 20.
- Appointments open for annual WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive: WKU and Middle Tennessee State University will continue their annual blood drive competition this year to collect donations for the American Red Cross. In Bowling Green, campus and community members can schedule appointments to donate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 29-31 at the Preston Health and Activities Center. - WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. - Baseball: WKU to Host Toppers Top Prospect Camp on Nov. 4: WKU Baseball head coach John Pawlowski has announced a Toppers Top Prospect Camp to be hosted on Nov. 4 at Nick Denes Field from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Men’s basketball: Countdown to Tipoff - 100 Days of Hilltopper Basketball History: The 100th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball will tip off in November. WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season.

- Volunteers pull off leaves in continuation of Stickwork at WKU project: Stickwork at WKU continued on Tuesday, with volunteers gathering limbs off campus, while others worked outside the Kentucky Museum.
- Brewer jumping into early leadership role with Lady Toppers: Alexis Brewer hasn’t played a minute yet for WKU and is already held in high regard in the Lady Toppers’ locker room.
- Stansbury confident Hilltoppers are reaching roster continuity: Rick Stansbury scrambled to put together his first three WKU rosters. The good news for Stansbury is he’s confident he won’t have to overhaul the Hilltopper roster again next season.
