- Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter to spend fall break in Madisonville: Members of the WKU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter will be spending their fall break in Madisonville. The WKU group will be working Oct. 11-13 on a project with Hopkins County Habitat for Humanity as part of Habitat’s efforts to eliminate substandard housing.

- Appointments open for annual WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive: WKU and Middle Tennessee State University will continue their annual blood drive competition this year to collect donations for the American Red Cross. In Bowling Green, campus and community members can schedule appointments to donate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 29-31 at the Preston Health and Activities Center. - WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. - Soccer: WKU's Big First Half Keeps UTEP Rally at Bay in 4-3 Victory: WKU's offense shined for the second straight match, firing three first-half goals as the Lady Toppers held back a furious UTEP comeback attempt in the second half to earn a 4-3 victory at the WKU Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon. - Volleyball: Lady Toppers Down MTSU on the Road for 2-0 Weekend: Four different Lady Toppers registered at least eight kills with Kayland Jackson recording a match-high 11 as WKU Volleyball took down Middle Tennessee in four sets on Sunday afternoon. The Red and White claimed the victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 20-25 and 25-16 from Murfreesboro, Tenn. Next: WKU (14-6, 5-1 C-USA) vs. UAB at 6 p.m. Friday. - Women’s golf: Joiner, Tyree Finish in Top 25 at Bettie Lou Evans Invitational: Mary Joiner shot another 2-under 70 on Sunday in the final round of Kentucky's Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, finishing tied for 11th to lead WKU Lady Topper Golf. Next: WKU will return to the course at Louisville's Cardinal Cup on Oct. 20-21 in Simpsonville.
- Men’s basketball: Countdown to Tipoff - 100 Days of Hilltopper Basketball History: The 100th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball will tip off in November. WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season.
