Folk Studies Professor Tim Evans Interviewed on WKYU about "Bowling Green Massacre" and Fake News

Folk Studies Prof. Tim Evans was recently interviewed by Kevin Willis of WKYU radio about his article on “the Bowling Green Massacre.” Listen to the interview, and read Prof Evans’ blogpost. The article was published in the Fall 2018 issue of the Journal of American Folklore, currently edited by a team in the Department of Folk Studies and Anthropology. This special issue consists of 14 papers presented at the 2017 American Folklore Society annual meeting in which folklorists engage with different aspects of “fake news.” The issue is now available on JSTOR and will be arriving in subscriber mailboxes soon.
