• Business & Professionalism Week in the GFCB: The Gordon Ford College of Business is celebrating Business & Professionalism Week this week (Nov. 5-9) with a lengthy list of nearly 20 workshops and seminars designed to enhance students’ knowledge of workplace readiness. • View from the Hill: Sensory calming room at football games: The excitement of athletic events can often cause overstimulation for people with sensory issues. That’s why a sensory calming room has been added to WKU home football games. WKU's Amy Bingham takes us inside in the View from the Hill.
• WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU Sports

• Volleyball: Anderson, Martin Shine in Senior Day Win Over Florida Atlantic: Led by outstanding efforts from Rachel Anderson and Mary Martin in their final match at Diddle Arena, WKU Volleyball took down second-place Florida Atlantic with a 3-1 victory on Sunday afternoon. Next: With its home schedule complete, WKU Volleyball will hit the road for the final week of conference play. On Thursday, the Lady Toppers will look to spoil UAB's senior day before the squad heads to Ruston, La., to visit Louisiana Tech on Sunday.
• Tennis: Lady Toppers Finish Strong in Fall Finale at Chattanooga: WKU finished its fall tournament slate this weekend, competing at the Chattanooga Fall Invite. The Red and White recorded nine wins across the singles and doubles competitions, with each Lady Topper notching at least one victory.
• Men’s basketball: Tops Wrap Up Preseason with 96-71 Victory over Kentucky Wesleyan:  WKU Hilltopper Basketball opened the game with a 10-0 run Saturday and never looked back, rolling to a 96-71 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan in its final exhibition at E.A. Diddle Arena. Next: WKU opens the 2018-19 regular season at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Washington. More: Countdown to Tipoff;  2018-19 Media Guide.
• Football: Blue Raiders Top Hilltoppers 29-10: Middle Tennessee running back Chaton Mobley rushed for a career-high 198 yards on 25 carries to lead the Blue Raiders to their first victory over WKU in the last four tries, 29-10, on Friday night at Floyd Stadium. Next: WKU at FAU on Saturday.

• Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland names new director: Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland in Elizabethtown has a new face at the helm. The nonprofit organization announced WKU graduate Jamie Sizemore as its new executive director.
