• WKU to temporarily close Minton Hall, relocate residents: WKU will close Minton Hall for the remainder of the fall academic semester and relocate its 348 residents to other on-campus housing in a proactive effort to mitigate mold found in mechanical spaces within the facility. • Kentucky Habitat for Humanity executive director to visit WKU: Mary Shearer, Executive Director for Kentucky Habitat for Humanity, will visit the WKU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter meeting at 5:30 pm. Tuesday (Nov. 13) at Environmental Sciences and Technology Building, room 214A.
• PS2 reserved Friday for Head for the Hill: Parking Structure 2 will be reserved Friday (Nov. 9) for Head for the Hill, an Admissions campus open house event. Alternate parking for WKU commuter students will be available in several other lots. View alternate parking map.
• WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

• Volleyball: Lady Toppers Look to Ride Hot Streak into Final Week of Regular Season: Riding a four-match Conference USA win streak, WKU Volleyball enters the final week of regular season play as one of the hottest teams in the league. The Lady Toppers will visit both UAB and Louisiana Tech for their respective Senior Days tonight and Saturday. WKU enters the road trip with an 18-9 record including a 9-3 mark in C-USA action.
• Football: Rinella Named National Ray Guy Punter of the Week: WKU Football's Alex Rinella was rewarded for a career punting performance, as the redshirt junior earned Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week honors, it was announced Wednesday. In the Hilltoppers' Friday night game at Middle Tennessee on Nov. 2, Rinella booted seven punts for a career-high 340 yards. He pinned four punts inside the 20 yard line and had four punts of 57-plus yards on the evening. More: Practice report
• Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.

• WKU students participate in groundbreaking study: Two WKU meteorology students lent their hands in an unforgettable, groundbreaking project this past summer. They traveled to Nebraska to investigate how irrigation affects precipitation.
