- WKU in Glasgow Launches New Student Business Accelerator: WKU faculty, staff and student entrepreneurs attended the Glasgow-Barren County Industrial Development and Economic Authority (IDEA) Board of Directors meeting Friday to share opportunities WKU offers to student entrepreneurs, including the new Student Business Accelerator (SBA) at WKU in Glasgow.
- Dr. Hugh H. and Debby G. Wilhite establish scholarship: Dr. Hugh H. and Debby G. Wilhite of Calhoun have made a gift of $225,000 to establish a scholarship at WKU to benefit students in healthcare-related disciplines. More: #GivingTuesday Nov. 27; WKU Opportunity Fund
- WKU honors veterans, unveils new panel at Guthrie Bell Tower: WKU honored veterans, recognized the 100th anniversary of WKU’s ROTC program and unveiled a new granite panel at Guthrie Bell Tower on Friday during the annual Veterans Day ceremony.
- Ogden College of Science & Engineering awards Noah Ashley with Research/Creativity Award for sleep studies: Chosen for outstanding contributions in Research/Creativity within the Ogden College of Science and Engineering, Dr. Noah Ashley received the Faculty Award in the spring of 2018. “I know there’s many, many good professors and researchers out there, so I was just delighted to receive it,” Dr. Ashley said in reference to the award.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Volleyball: WKU Locks Up C-USA Tournament No. 2 Seed for Second-Straight Year: WKU Volleyball will open play Friday in the 2018 Air Force Reserve Conference USA Volleyball Championship from Huntington, W.Va. as the No. 2 seed. Entering postseason with the No. 2 seed for the second-consecutive season, Head coach Travis Hudson and company are seeking a program-record fifth-straight automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Lady Toppers (20-9, 11-3 C-USA) will face Southern Miss at 4 p.m. Friday. More: WKU Sweeps Lady Techsters for 20th Win of Season
- Basketball: Stansbury, Collins Radio Shows Begin Tonight: The Rick Stansbury and Greg Collins Radio Shows begin tonight with the first of 15 airings throughout the 2018-19 season. The shows will originate from a new location this year at Roosters at 247 Three Springs Road in Bowling Green. The Jan. 28 shows will be held at Colton's Steak House in Glasgow.
- Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Take Down UT Martin 86-71 in Home Opener: WKU Hilltopper Basketball got into the win column for the first time this season Saturday night, pushing past UT Martin 86-71 in the home opener at E.A. Diddle Arena. Next: WKU vs. Valparaiso at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Myrtle Beach Invitational.
- Football: Owls Rush for 300-Plus in 34-15 Victory over WKU: Devin Singletary ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns, becoming the first Florida Atlantic running back to top 4,000 career yards, and the Owls cruised to a 34-15 victory over WKU. Next: WKU vs. UTEP at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for Senior Night.
- Women’s basketball: Second-Half Rally Comes Up Short for Lady Toppers at Oklahoma: Despite a career-high 21 points from Dee Givens and a second-half rally, WKU Women's Basketball dropped a 90-83 decision to Oklahoma Friday night from the Lloyd Noble Center. The Lady Toppers outscored the Sooners 58-52 in a second-half shootout after trailing 38-25 at halftime. Next: WKU vs. Iowa at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
- Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.

- WKU observes Veterans Day with wreath-laying ceremony: On Friday morning, WKU observed Veterans Day with a special wreath-laying ceremony at the Guthrie Bell Tower to honor all the servicemen and servicewomen who serve, or have served, the United States of America.
- WKU Glasgow launches student business accelerator: WKU’s Glasgow campus now has space set aside as a WKU Student Business Accelerator.
