The College Heights Foundation announced a $15,000 scholarship gift from the Wells Fargo Foundation through support from the Ridley Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. The Wells Fargo Military Support Scholarship Fund will be an endowed scholarship fund for military-affiliated students at WKU. • Wells Fargo Foundation establishes scholarship fund to support military-affiliated students: Following the Veterans Day celebrations and a number of festivities to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of ROTC at WKU, the College Heights Foundation is pleased to announce a $15,000 scholarship gift from the Wells Fargo Foundation through support from the Ridley Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. The Wells Fargo Military Support Scholarship Fund will be an endowed scholarship fund for military-affiliated students at WKU.
• WKU Forensics Team wins at tournaments in Illinois: WKU’s Forensics Team traveled to Lebanon, Illinois, to compete in two tournaments Nov. 10-11. The WKU team won all three team sweepstakes championships, across debate and the two individual events tournaments.
• Students honored at 2018 Kentucky Academy of Science meeting: WKU and Gatton Academy students were honored for their research presentations at the Kentucky Academy of Science meeting Nov. 2-3.

• Women’s basketball: WKU Returns Home for Rematch of 2017 Thriller vs. Iowa: Coming off its first road trip of the season, WKU will be back inside E.A. Diddle Arena this evening at 6 as the Lady Toppers welcome No. 13/17 Iowa for a rematch of last season's 104-97 overtime thriller in the Hawkeye Challenge that the Hawkeyes claimed with a late rally. • Men’s basketball: Bassey Named C-USA Freshman of the Week After Strong Debut: WKU freshman Charles Bassey finished his first week of college basketball with his first weekly honor. The 6-foot-11, 245-pound center was named Conference USA Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week on Monday by the league office. Next: The Hilltoppers return to action this week in the Myrtle Beach Invitational, starting against Valparaiso at 4 p.m. CT Thursday on ESPNU.
• Football: Weekly Press Conference: Coach Mike Sanford and defensive coordinator Clayton White discussed Saturday’s Senior Night matchup against UTEP. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
• Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.

• WKU alumna Evie Oregon returns to the Hill to teach, inspire and pay it forward: In 2007, Evelyn (Evie) Oregon of Aurora, Ill., graduated from WKU with a degree in Recreation Administration.
