- WKU Winter Weather Advisory for Nov. 15: WKU's Owensboro campus will be closed today. WKU's Elizabethtown-Fort Knox campus will open at noon ET today. WKU's Glasgow and Bowling Green campuses will be open on schedule today. More: 2018-19 Winter Weather Communications Plan
- WKU graduate student presents research at Arctic Circle Assembly: Jason Fox of Russellville, a graduate student in the WKU Center for Human GeoEnvironmental Studies (CHNGES) and Department of Geography and Geology, recently traveled to Iceland to present at the annual Arctic Circle Assembly conference and to complete thesis research along Iceland’s southern coast evaluating the environmental impact of tourism activity and development at climate-vulnerable natural attractions.
- WKU Food Pantry provides food regardless of need: In a small house on the edge of campus lies a place for students, faculty, and staff to obtain food when they need a few items. Through food drives and donations year-round, members of the campus and local community help make food available for hundreds of visitors during the year at the WKU Food Pantry. According to Cara Walters, Office of Sustainability Student Ambassador, 160 people have visited the WKU Food Pantry already this year.
- Campus Traffic Advisory -- Bus Traffic on Avenue of Champions Nov. 16: There will be increased traffic and bus congestion on Avenue of Champions Friday (Nov. 16) from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. School buses will be dropping off and picking up passengers for the Journalism Scholars Day at DSU.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Athletics: WKU Posts Highest Graduation Success Rate in Program History: Achieving off the field of play has always been the goal for the Hilltoppers and Lady Toppers, and WKU's student-athletes are doing it at the highest rate in school history as the NCAA announced WKU's Graduation Success Rate (GSR) is at its all-time high. WKU Athletics posted an overall GSR of 85, increasing on last year's reported score of 82, to improve on the program's standing as one of the top producers of graduates in the NCAA. Four WKU sport programs posted perfect GSR scores: women's basketball, women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
- Volleyball: Anderson, Cerino Named All-Conference; Frederick, Matthews Selected to All-Freshman Team: Four WKU Volleyball student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions on the court this season, Conference USA announced Tuesday. Senior Rachel Anderson earned her third First-Team All-Conference nod while junior Sophia Cerino was tabbed a Second-Team All-Conference selection. In their rookie campaigns, Payton Frederick and Lauren Matthews each earned a spot on the league's All-Freshman team. Next: WKU opens play in Conference USA Volleyball Championship at 4 p.m. Friday against Southern Miss.
- Volleyball: Hudson Inks Three Future Lady Toppers to National Letters of Intent: WKU Volleyball head coach Travis Hudson has announced the signing of three standout prep players -- Paige Briggs, Avri Davis and Jennifer Rush -- who have inked their National Letters of Intent to play for the Lady Toppers on The Hill next fall.
- Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Open Myrtle Beach Invitational Against Valpo: WKU Hilltopper Basketball opens play in the Myrtle Beach Invitational against Valparaiso at 4 p.m. CT today on the campus of Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
- Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Add Elite Kentucky Shot-Blocker Cozart to 2019 Class: WKU Hilltopper Basketball head coach Rick Stansbury announced Wednesday the addition of Isaiah Cozart (6-7, Forward) in the 2019 class. One of the elite shot-blockers in the history of Kentucky high school basketball, Cozart is a standout for Madison Central High School and head coach Allen Feldhaus in Richmond, Ky.
- Football: Practice Report: WKU Football ended a rainy practice Wednesday evening in preparation for the last home game of the season against the UTEP Miners. Saturday’s game at Houchens-Smith Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on beIN Sports. More: Hilltoppers in the NFL;
- Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.
