• 41 inducted into WKU's chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society: WKU’s chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) inducted 41 new members – the largest number in the chapter’s history -- in a ceremony on Nov. 19.
• View from the Hill: Bridging Cultures through Music: WKU’s Pre-College Strings Program is helping bridge the language barrier for students from all over the world attending Bowling Green High School. WKU's Amy Bingham shows us how music is the universal language in the View from the Hill.
• Christmas in Kentucky 2018: The Kentucky Museum is preparing for its 12^th annual Christmas in Kentucky on Saturday (Dec. 1).
• 2018 Undergraduate Literature, Language, and Culture Conference: The Undergraduate Conference on Literature, Language, and Culture  is an annual event sponsored by the WKU English Department, with generous support from the Provost's Initiatives for Excellence. The conference features original analytical essays written by undergraduate students.
• The Rohna: Seventy-five years ago Monday, on November 26, 1943, one of the greatest and least-known losses of Americans in a single naval incident took place when the troopship HMT Rohna sank in the Mediterranean Sea. The incident was quickly shrouded in secrecy.  Survivors and families of the dead were told little about what had happened.  Only with the passage of time and the declassification of military reports did the story become clearer. When WKU history professor Carlton Jackson set out to write a book about the Rohna disaster, he gathered letters, narratives and official testimonials from survivors, witnesses, and families of the victims.

• Football: Tyson Helton Named 21st Head Football Coach at WKU: A familiar face with a championship pedigree is back on The Hill as former WKU offensive coordinator Tyson Helton, a Conference USA and Rose Bowl Champion, has been named the 21st head football coach at WKU.
• Women’s basketball: WKU Welcomes Morgan State for First-Ever Meeting Tonight: Following a long trip to Canada for three games at the 2018 Vancouver Showcase last week, WKU will return to the friendly confines of E.A. Diddle Arena this evening at 6 as the Lady Toppers welcome Morgan State for the first-ever meeting on the hardwood between the two teams. More: Event parking
• Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.

• Aspiring health care professionals to benefit from new WKU scholarship: High school graduates in and around McLean County striving for a health care career can benefit from a new WKU scholarship thanks to a quarter-million dollar gift.
• Helton family excited to return to Bowling Green, WKU: When a new coach comes to town, a new family follows. For WKU football's new head coach, family is a priority. Helton took time to thank his family before getting into questions with the media at a press conference on Tuesday. He especially thanked his wife, April.
