• Giving Tuesday brings in more than $118,000, increase in donors and gifts: Giving Tuesday (Nov. 27) results include gifts totaling $118,127.57, a 22 percent increase from Giving Tuesday in 2017. Of the 477 donors, 68 were first-time donors to WKU. The total number of donors represents a 16.9 percent increase from 2017.
• Roberts and Inman Win Legacy Book Award: Dr. Julia Link Roberts and Dr. Tracy Ford Inman of The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU, as well as Dr. Jennifer Robins of Baylor University, have won the 2018 Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) Legacy Book Award in the Scholar category for their work editing the textbook Introduction to Gifted Education.
• WKU to recognize fall graduates at ceremonies Dec. 15: WKU’s five academic colleges will recognize more than 1,400 fall graduates in ceremonies on Dec. 15.
• Campus traffic advisory: AOC Congestion and PS2 First Floor Reserved Today: There will be increased traffic and bus congestion on Avenue of Champions today as numerous school buses will be dropping off and picking up approximately 1,500 schoolchildren for the Student Technology Leadership Conference in Diddle Arena.  The first floor of Parking Structure 2 will be reserved for event parking.
• Military Instructors Complete the Master Educator Course: Twenty-two military instructors from around the U.S. recently completed the Master Educator Course (MEC) and were honored at a Closing Ceremony at Fort Knox on November 2. The MEC program is for active-duty Army leaders who want to learn more effective methods for training others, making the program ideal for ROTC program instructors.
• WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

• Women’s soccer: Neidell Adds Three Players to Early Signee Group: After previously announcing four new Lady Toppers last week, Head Coach Jason Neidell has announced another trio of players who will head to The Hill to begin their collegiate careers next fall. Samantha Francis (Raleigh, N.C.), Taylor Stanley (Macomb, Mich.) and Jordan Strauss (Parkland, Fla.) will look to make their mark at WKU.
• Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.
