UPDATE FOR JAN. 31: All WKU campuses will operate on regular schedule Thursday (Jan. 31).

Here's a WKU Winter Weather Update for Jan. 30:

All WKU campuses will be closed Wednesday (Jan. 30) because of the predicted cold weather and wind chills.

Here is a list of essential services that will remain open:

• Graves Gilbert Clinic at WKU will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30).
  
• Preston Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30). The IMREC Sports Office and the Health and Fitness Lab will be closed. All scheduled programs and services for Wednesday have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date and time.
• WKU Dining: Fresh Food Company will open at 8 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30); Subway at Bates will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30); DSU Food Court will open at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30). Follow @WKUDining for updates.
• ITS Service Desk will be open Wednesday (Jan. 30). If you need tech help leave a voicemail at (270) 745-7000 and Information Technology Services will get back with you ASAP.
• Jody Richards Hall Computer Lab will close at midnight Tuesday (Jan. 29) and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30). The computer lab will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 31).

Here is a list of other closings/cancellations:

• WKU Admissions tours are canceled Wednesday (Jan. 30). To reschedule, visit wku.edu/visitwku. Email tours@wku.edu with any questions.
• IMREC Sports Office and Health and Fitness Lab will be closed Wednesday (Jan. 30). All scheduled programs and services for Wednesday have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date and time.
• WKU Ticket Office and Hilltopper Athletic Foundation will be closed Wednesday (Jan. 30). Staff members will be monitoring emails throughout the day. For questions regarding WKU Tickets, email tickets@wku.edu, text 1-800-5-BIGRED, or visit WKUTickets.com. For questions regarding the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation, email haf@wku.edu.

WKU anticipates returning to a normal schedule on Thursday (Jan. 31).

These conditions significantly increase the potential for frostbite with even limited exposure. We urge those of you who can to stay inside.
