- WKU Forensics Team competes at Illinois, Murray State: WKU’s Forensics Team traveled to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, and Murray to take part in four tournaments the weekend of Feb. 2-3.

- President’s Message: Organizational Advancement: During the past 18 months, we made significant changes to our organizational arrangements and leadership team to better position WKU for success. Our leadership structure will continue to evolve, with each revision aimed at helping us enhance WKU’s focus on the success of every student and on continued improvement in their recruitment, retention and graduation. The rapidly evolving world of higher education, coupled with an increasingly competitive environment, requires us to evolve and to do new things that will continue our success. - WKU Campus Ministries Blood Drive Feb. 6: WKU Campus Ministries will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 6) at the Preston Health and Activities Center. Right now, the Red Cross is distributing blood products to hospitals faster than donations are coming in. Donations are crucial in helping support patients’ ongoing needs as well as unforeseen trauma situations. Schedule an appointment at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give Code: WKU

- Softball: Coach Tudor Previews 2019 Season: WKU Softball head coach Amy Tudor addressed the media prior to Monday afternoon's practice to preview the Hilltoppers' 2019 campaign. Entering her sixth season at the helm of her former program, Tudor gave a position-by-position breakdown, while discussing goals, expectations, leadership and more. Tudor and company are set to open the season Friday in the Sand Dollar Classic, which will take place in Gulf Shores, Ala.
- Men’s golf: Callahan Paces Tops at Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate: Sophomore Crimson Callahan shot the second-lowest single round of his career Monday to lead WKU Hilltopper Golf at the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate. With his performance, Callahan earned the final spot on WKU's team roster for the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate on Feb. 11-12 at South Alabama. The Hilltoppers used the individual event in Georgia as a qualifying opportunity for the last spot in the upcoming tournament.
- Men’s basketball: Surging Bassey Wins Sixth C-USA Freshman of the Week Award: WKU center Charles Bassey continued his tear through league play last week, earning him his sixth Conference USA Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week award Monday. Bassey averaged a dominant 19.5 points and 15 rebounds across two victories over UTSA and UTEP last week.
- Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15.

- WKU considering partnership with QatarDebate for language education: When Kassidy Orrender first came to WKU, she never planned to study Arabic. That changed when she discovered WKU’s community of international students, many of whom are Arabic speakers from the Middle East. In March, Orrender will travel to Qatar with three classmates to compete in an international Arabic debate championship against university students from around the world.
- WKU Softball Opens Regular Season Friday: WKU Softball is just a few days away from opening its 2019 regular season. The Hilltoppers will take on Missouri State in their season opener Friday at 11 a.m. in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
