• 2019 Student Publications summer fellows named: WKU Student Publications announced a record eight Student Publications fellows for 2019. These students will spend at least 10 weeks working in professional organizations this summer in internships tailored to help them grow their skills.
• Silkroad Ensemble to Perform April 2: WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series presents the Silkroad Ensemble at Van Meter Hall on April 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
• #PeopleofWKU: Internship coordinators: For this week's #PeopleofWKU, we are honoring these and many more dedicated faculty and staff who help arrange internships and other activities that enable students to extend their learning opportunities beyond the classroom. WKU Sports

• Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Host Rival Middle Tennessee Tonight: WKU Hilltopper Basketball enters the final week before Bonus Play with two home games, starting against rival Middle Tennessee at 7 tonight at E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will stream on CBS Sports Network on Facebook Watch. WKU head coach Rick Stansbury will miss the games tonight and Saturday as he has back surgery Friday.  More: Event parking
• Women’s basketball: Lady Tops Renew Rivalry at Middle Tennessee Tonight: For the 73rd time in program history, WKU is set to clash with archrival Middle Tennessee inside the Murphy Center this evening at 6:30. The Lady Toppers enter tonight’s clash having won five straight games against the Blue Raiders, including back-to-back road tilts in each of the last two seasons, their second-longest winning streak in the longtime series.
• Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15.

• Hundreds of students gather for sixth annual IdeaFestival Bowling Green: Over 750 middle and high schoolers from 17 different school districts across Kentucky and Tennessee, congregated at WKU Wednesday. More: Middle school and high school students participate in annual Idea Festival
• WKU celebrates Black History Month with artist talk: To celebrate Black History Month, WKU held its Black History Month artist talk Wednesday. Student art is displayed under the theme of different shades of identity and reflection.
• Students with ties to WKU create own tech company: Most college students at the age of 20 to 21 are busy taking classes and figuring out what they want to do after they graduate. That’s not exactly the case for one current and one former WKU students, though. Instead, the duo teamed up to launch their very own tech company.
