Cameron Brooks crowned WKU's 2019 Coming Home King

Cameron Brooks (center) was crowned WKU’s 2019 Coming Home King. Second runner-up was Jacob Hayslip (left); first runner-up was Wood Brown (right).
Cameron Brooks of Indianapolis, Indiana, was crowned WKU’s 2019 Coming Home King on Saturday (Feb. 16).
Brooks, the son of Carmen Shropshire, is a Broadcasting major and was sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He was one of 22 candidates for Coming Home King.
First runner-up was Wood Brown of Princeton, the son of Will Brown and Jami Elam. He is a History and Economics major and was sponsored by Kappa Delta and Pi Kappa Delta.
Second runner-up was Jacob Hayslip of Louisville, the son of Donovan and Maryann Hayslip. He is a Mathematics, Spanish and Secondary Education major and was sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha.
