WNKY Interviews WKU English Alumni Skylar Wooden and Clint Waters

WNKY recently featured two WKU English Department alumni, Skylar Wooden and Clinton Waters, on their Emerging Leaders series.
Skylar Wooden from Paducah, KY, is co-founder of Pare and Flourish, a women’s blog that evolved into a network that assists young professional women with job material review and resume advice, as well as organizing community events. Wooden graduated with a BA in Professional Writing in 2014, before accepting a technical writing position with KirkpatrickPrice, LLC. She also worked as a language assistant, teaching conversational English to students in Beauvais, France during the fall of 2017.
Clinton Waters from Bowling Green, KY is an LGBTQ+ author who is seeking better understanding and inclusion for his community. He graduated from WKU in 2012 after studying Creative Writing and German. He has worked at KirkpatrickPrice as an Audit Support Proffessional, as well as Lead Writer at Ionic Comics. He is currently a freelance author, and his books include Dreams Fading Brightly, an anthology of fantasy short stories, Futures Gleaming Darkly, an anthology of sci-fi short stories, and Vivisection & Other Poems, a collection of fifty poems.
