WKU PBS Pool Party set for Aug. 4

Get ready for the end of summer WKU PBS Pool Party being held at the Russell Sims Aquatic Center from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 4.

Please join us for our “Sunny Day Celebration” and meet everyone’s favorite PBS character, Cat in the Hat, who will make appearances at 2 and 4 p.m. The first 300 kids age 10 and under will receive a goody bag, plus there will be prizes given away every quarter hour. In addition, Kids on the Block otherwise known as “puppets with a purpose” will be performing at 1 and 3 p.m.

The WKU PBS Pool Party offers a unique opportunity for families to spend time together before the school year begins. Please invite your family and friends and join us at the pool for a day of celebration.

Coupons for $1 off regular Aquatic Center admission prices for the day are available at the Russell Sims Aquatic Center’s entrance the day of the event. The park is located at 2303 Tomblinson Way, Bowling Green.

Other PBS Pool Party Friends include Barnes & Noble, Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, Community Action Center, Community Education, Girl Scouts, Junior Achievement, Kids on the Block, and Music for All Occasions.
