Title IX online training for new WKU students
- Thursday, August 29th, 2019
WKU is committed to fostering a culture of respect in its educational and work environments free of sex and/or gender-based harassment and sexual violence. In furtherance of this commitment, WKU students are strongly advised to complete U Got This!, Your Guide to Speak Up, Step In, and Create A Better Campus for All, an interactive training module that explores these topics in a culturally relevant context with a focus on sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking.
This week, all freshmen and new/transfer students received an email from Catharsis Productions with a link to the training module.
This training consists of three modules which must be completed in sequential order. Please allow 20 minutes to complete each module. You will be credited with completing a given module once you reach the final/completion page at the end of the interactive session. Users who disconnect from the site prior to completing a specific module will have to restart the module at the next login.
All training modules should be completed by Friday, October 10, 2019.
Please be advised that the training modules discusses topics of a sensitive nature which may trigger an emotional response. Should you be concerned about the content and its potential impact, contact Andrea Anderson, Assistant General Counsel and WKU’s Title IX Coordinator, via email at andrea.anderson@wku.edu or by phone at (270) 745-5398 to discuss potential alternative formats and/or settings.
