Finance Professor Delivers Keynote at China Conference

Dr. Johnny Chan, Leon Page Endowed Chair of Finance and University Distinguished Professor, delivered the keynote address at the International Conference on Finance, Trade, and Industry held on Oct 25 and 26 in Fuzhou, China. The title of his speech was “Corporate Finance Research with a Focus in China: Past, Present, and Future”.

Dr. Chan has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles since 1990 with many articles appearing in high-quality international journals, such as Contemporary Accounting Research and Journal of Corporate Finance. In the last 10 years, his research focuses on corporate finance topics and becomes one of the authorities in corporate finance research with a China focus.
